THE ART OF MY LANGUAGE
My artistic expression is a raw, unfiltered scream that lays bare the depths of my emotions. Even when misunderstood, I am grateful for the avenues I have to authentically share who I am as an artist. "Dear Brown You" is a heartfelt creation, designed to resonate with people of all cultures and skin tones, not just the Black community.
Throughout my life, I've been constantly judged and pigeonholed by others based on the way I carry myself, my facial expressions, my mannerisms, my communication style, and various other aspects of my identity. How can one truly be themselves when their narrative is predetermined before they even have a chance to speak? There is a part of me infused into every garment I create and every piece of art I present. My priority is to love and uplift those who love me, and even those who don't, regardless of their cultural background. Welcome to my world.
